Overheard on UNCC Campus

Boy: Whatever happened before I was born is irrelavative. The past is done.

Girl: What about your mom and dad?

Boy: Irrelative.

Girl: I thought they pay your tuition. They're irrelevant?

Boy: They are unless I have to move back in with them. Even then, they're irrelative.

Irrelative?

A Model for Protesting UNCC Tuition Increases

“They want to be sure that their voices are being heard and I want to commit to them that their voices are being heard...”--- University of California President Janet Napolitano,  during a meeting with U.C. Board of Regents.

"... ' Let’s just break. Let’s go, let’s go. We don’t have to listen to this crap'..."  University of California President Janet Napolitano a short time later when protesters began shouting about tuition increases.

"Protesters suspect the meetings were scheduled during a busy week of midterms, but they say they won’t stop protesting until their message is heard." (from CBS News)

I believe this is called "talking out of both sides of one's mouth." Lesson Learned: Don't trust administrators.

Think You Could Get Into a Better University? Pfffft

You don't really want to go to Harvard, do you?

"...people believe that each of them is a 'heroic being,' that their individual happiness is a moral absolute, that their own reason is ironclad and incorruptible..."

Hmmm... Not much different from the rich kids at the UNCC Kudzu League.

Overheard on UNCC Campus

"... I don't understand why these old f**ks take classes. Their time has passed. They should give up and make room for younger people who have something to contribute...and the crippled students are just as bad..."

Makes me proud to be a Niner.

More Comments About UNCC from Students Review

I attended UNCC simply because it was close...The level of instruction across the board is poor. So many of the faculty speak such poor English that just understanding the lecture is a struggle... "
